Dr Mar Seraphim to lead seminar on Orthodox traditions in modern context

Kuwait City: HG Dr Abraham Mar Seraphim, Metropolitan of Bengaluru Diocese will lead a seminar on the theme Aadhunikadthayum Orthodox Aaradhana Parampryavum at St George Chapel, Abbassiya, Kuwait. Anti Alcoholism Movement is arranging the special study class on January 4, 2012, Wednesday at 6:30 pm at St George Chapel, Abbassiya.
Dr Mar Seraphim had also addressed a seminar organised by OCYM on the same theme on January 2, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at St George Chapel, Abbassiya. This was followed by OCYM Christmas Programme. His Grace also led a Retreat and Get-Together of AMOSS on New Year’s Day in the evening.
Dr Mar Seraphim will also take part in the St John’s prayer group’s Christmas programme on January 5.
Next day, the Metropolitan will be taking part in the Feast of Epiphany (Denaha Perunal) on January 6, Friday morning.
Later in the noon, Dr Mar Seraphim will address a meeting of Sunday School Teachers at St George Chapel. This will be the last engagement in Kuwait.
The Metropolitan will board the Emirates flight to Bengaluru at 11 pm to reach Bengaluru International Airport on the morning of  January 7th.
The Managing Committee and Parish Members of St Gregorios Indian Orthodox Maha Edavaka have expressed their sincere gratitude to HG Dr Abraham Mar Seraphim who blessed them during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
