Sagar (MP) : His Grace Dr. Joseph Mar Dionysius, Metropolitan of Calcutta Diocese, visited Sagar (MP) for the inaugural

ceremony of the newly built school building on 28th and 29th January 2012. A warm welcome was given to His Grace by Vicar Fr. Mathew M. Mathew and the parishioners Fr. Aju K. Varghese, secretary to HG also accompanied the Metropolitan.
The inaugural function of the school was presided by Dr. Mar Dionysius Metropolitan on 28th Jan. 2012 at 6.00 pm and the Chief Guest of the function was Er. Pradeep Lariya (M.L.A) and other distinguished guests were Fr. Robin Devassy, Vicar General of R.C. Church Sagar Diocese, Fr. Thomas Attumel, Manager of St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Sagar, Fr. Paul Mathew, Puthupadi Ashram Kerala, Mr. Louis P.R., President of Malayali Samajam. The inaugaural ceremony was followed by evening Prayer and consecration of the cross. On 29th Jan. 2012 morning Prayer was followed by Holy Qurbana was celebrated by His Grace along with Fr. Aju K. Varghese, Fr. Paul Mathew and Vicar Mathew M. Mathew. His Grace elevated Revin Kurian to the rank of Altar boy and honored Fr. Paul Mathew and Mr. M.A. Kuruvilla by giving them “Ponnada”. H.G in his inspiring speech urged the parishioners to lead a true Christian life in fellowship. Lastly, Parish Day was celebrated by the presidential address by His Grace and blessing messages were by Fr. Paul Mathew and Fr. Aju.K. Varghese. The program was concluded by lunch.
His grace‘s visit to Sagar was a profound blessing to the parishioners. A special vote of thanks was given by the Vicar & Vice President Fr. Mathew M. Mathew and Parish Treasurer John Jacob and School Board Secretary Biju C. Thomas.
