Patna: Mar Gregorios Orthodox Church, LCT Ghat, Mainpura, Patna has inaugurated its “ASHA DEEP SCHOOL” charity project,

exclusively for the Slum Children around the locality to collect scrap items from the road side for their livelihood and they never taste the education.
On this occasion the following Guest were attended and addressed :
1. Smt. Sujata Ojha, Head Master of Bihar Vidyapeeth, Swalamban High School, Patna.
2. Shri. Rajesh Kumar, Mukhya of this locality.
3. Shri. Albert Michael, a well Social Activist.
Fr. Shaji P. Joshua, the Vicar of Mar Gregorios Orthodox Church & Mr. A.V. Alexander, Secretary of MGM Mission School Patna given welcome speech. On this occasion all members of this Church and the Parents of the ASHA DEEP SCHOOL Children who have enrolled were present. School Kits were distributed among the Students of Asha Deep which includes School Bags, books, pencils and other educational items.
On this inauguration Speed the Guest appreciated the Church authorities for taking such initiatives for the empowerment of such students. Shri. Rajesh Kumar Mukhya of this locality gave assurance that he can give as much help for such fruitful efforts and would request the Govt. for the help from time to time.
Smt. Sujata Ojha, Head Master of above School appreciated and she can extend help for such efforts. She also expressed that we should give education to Parents also, so that they can give light to their homes and for sending their children to School for education and to come into the mainstream of the community.
